I'd put it back. The djinn probably look upon humans with some disdain and might be offended that you have their key. I doubt that they'll give you anything. (If you were angry at someone for taking something of yours, but then they put it back, you'd be thankful that it was returned to you but I doubt you'd give the person anything)
