Why does Angela Singer's artwork produce controversy? (Animal activist)?

Singer is an artist who draws out and emphasizes the wounds on hunted animals turned into taxidermy by filling the wounds and making them look very real. Too real for some observers but I find her work painfully beautiful and honest.
