Im a fan of the Judge Judy type of tv shows . MY question is?

when a person is awarded a monetary sum n a cival court if it be $1 or $5000.00 dollars how does the winning partys get their money.does the court that awardedthe winnings pay the said sum then collet that money from the losing party, or is their a garnishee placed on the person or companys wages or obviously if the person or company have the said amount already they just pay the amount. thanks for even reading this question.
