HELP! SHOULD I ASK HIM TO THE DANCE?

Okay. So please read this. We're having a Sadie Hawkins dance this friday, where girls ask guys. The only thing is i hate dancing, like i just feel really awkward grinding with a friend. And this guy wants me to ask him real bad, and i totally would but i just dont like dancing, but i like the hangouts,pictures, before and after, and just hanging with friends. But if i ask him thats weird if i dont dance with him right? Like MAYBE i suck it up for ONE dance, but i would just feel uncomfortable the whole time. Everyone wants me to ask him, and he likes me but i dont like him. He's the best friend i ever had tho, and hes really funny. Hes a senior im a junior, and i feel like im ruining his year, like its his last year in hs. I just dont know what to expect..help me please, have you ever known anyone that didnt like dancing? Did they go to dances?
