Do you know what is the name ?

So I have a Compaq PDA and I want to find a specific game for it ... We call it "perspico" ... The game is puzzle - based and all you have to do is arrange a bunch of pieces. You get let's say 18 spaces on the boards and 17 square fragments of a picture that scrambled. You only have 1 empty space and you have to arrange the other 17. Do you know what I am talking about ? Can you at least give me the English name for the game ? Thank you !
